How Panamá Pik works

FAQ

What is Panamá Pik?

A place to gather everyone’s photos and videos from an event on a single wall. Each folder is an event; you share a link or QR code and people upload their photos from their phones, no app needed.

How do I create a folder?

In “My folders” tap “New folder”, give it a name (like the event name), and that’s it. Each folder has its own link and QR code.

How do I share a folder?

Open the folder and use “Share” to send the link via WhatsApp, or show the QR code to scan. Anyone with the link can view and upload.

How do I upload photos or videos?

Inside the folder tap “Choose photo or video”. You can select several at once; they upload one by one with a progress bar. Videos upload in parts, so large ones work too.

“Approve photos before publishing”

When on, photos from others wait until you approve them. Your own are published right away.

“Ask permission to upload”

When on, people can view the folder but must ask you before they can upload. You approve who uploads.

“Link only” photos

Even in a public folder, you can mark a photo as “Link only”: it won’t show on the public wall, but people with the folder link can still see it. Open the photo and use the button to switch.

Public wall, likes and sharing

If you make a folder public, its photos appear on the Panamá Pik wall, where anyone can like, share or save a photo to favorites.

Favorites

Tap the star on any photo to save it. Find all your saved photos in the menu (your profile picture, top right) → “Favorites”.

Reporting a photo

If something shouldn’t be there, use “Report”. The photo is hidden right away and the folder owner reviews it.

Privacy

Private folders are only visible with the link. For privacy questions write to privacidad@panamapik.com.
